Charles Whitaker

Charles is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for Agri-AM’s North American business. Charles has extensive agricultural background and for the past 23 years has been head of Agricultural Consultancy and Finance for Brown & Co where he is also the Managing Partner. Charles has extensive experience providing agricultural management and advice to investors, farmers and landowners and holds a number of non-executive and executive roles on management and farming company boards. Charles has a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture and has first-hand practical farming experience globally to include specifically the Mid-West USA.


Adam Oliver

Adam is the Chief Investment Officer for Agri-AM's Emerging European Union business. Adam has 15 years’ experience of large scale agriculture in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria and extensive experience in acquiring and managing farmland assets, strategic / operational business reviews, financial and business planning, critical business assessments, restructuring, processing and marketing arrangements. Adam has a BSc in Agriculture from Wye College, London University and lives in Poland where he leads Brown & Co’s Central and Eastern European practice.


Robert Whelan

Robert is the Chief Financial Officer to Agri-AM providing the group’s financial reporting and controls, budget management and forecast analysis. Robert has 15 years of experience setting up the systems, processes, and controls in start-up and early stage companies. Most recently, Robert developed the Ukrainian subsidiary of Agrokultura AG, overseeing business growth from $3 million to $60 million over a three-year period. Robert is a CPA and former Audit Manager for KPMG with an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Illinois - Urbana.


Steve Ford McNichol

Steve has 30 years' direct farming experience and 14 years' experience farming in Romania.  With his own farming business in Central east Romania, Steve has excellent first hand knowledge of farming in Romania and in-depth, up-to-date market knowledge of profitable, modern farming systems in Romania.  Steve has worked with a number of institutional investors, assessing Romanian opportunities, as well as working with a large scale international farming company across Romania and Bulgaria improving seed and crop growing methods helping to greatly improving crop yields, husbandry and profits. 


Kevin Wright

Kevin grew up in a farming family and joined Ritter Agribusiness as Operations Officer for the Crop Services Division in the autumn of 2010 and in the spring of 2012, he became Vice President of the Farm Management Division. Kevin was promoted to President of E. Ritter Agribusiness Holdings, Inc. in January 2015. He previously worked for Greenway Equipment Inc., one of the largest John Deere dealership groups in the southern United States, as Branch Manager and Manager of the Product Support division.  Kevin received a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Arkansas State University and is an Accredited Farm Manager.


Bill Harrison

Bill Harrison joined E. Ritter & Company, parent company of Ritter Agribusiness, in 2009 as CFO and has led the financial team at Ritter since then.  He has over thirty years of experience in finance, first qualifying as a CPA with Touche Ross & Company in 1980 and completing an MBA at Harvard in 1982.  Prior to Ritter, Bill was Vice-President of SSM Partners, a manager of private equity funds, and CFO of small distribution company.  He graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from the University of Tennessee in 1978.


Douglas Hirsh

Douglas has a long history in farmland fund management serving as a portfolio manager for a family office and accredited investors.  A graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in accounting and with an MBA from the University of Chicago, Douglas got his start in accounting at Arthur Andersen LLP and later at Pricewaterhouse Cooper LLP, however his passion for farming led him to pursue a career in farming and real estate by launching the Dough Farms Opportunity Funds.


Corey Holmes

Corey was born into a farming family and started farming with his father when he was in high school, purchasing his first piece of land on his 18th birthday. Corey has acquired experience with hogs, row crops and has an extensive knowledge of farming practices which have allowed him to work closely with big companies such as DuPont and Monsanto on various strategies and technology. Corey has also been very active in agriculture accounting and since 2012 has attended TEPAP (The Executive Program for Agricultural Producers) at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas.
